Jill taught comedy workshops in London and Brighton for the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2012. She was the BBC's chosen Comedy Coach in the South for their Comic Relief project in 2011. Jill mentored Brighton's BBC Radio Sussex presenter Neil Pringle with individual comedy lessons, and appeared in BBC One's documentary "Stand-Up for Comic Relief."
BBC South East’s documentary "Comedy In Brighton" featured Jill mentoring presenter Kaddy Lee-Preston in a private comedy class to write and perform her own stand-up set. Kaddy performed at Comic Boom at Brighton's Komedia to plenty of laughs – not just from Jill.
Jill’s stand-up comedy classes featured in Radio 4 programmes “Please Tell Me Why It’s Funny” and “Comic Belief,” which was a 40 minute special following two aspiring comedians through her stand-up comedy course; transmitted as part of Radio 4's “Soundtrack” series.
Lionel Blair taught Jill the Sammy Davis Junior microphone technique when she talked to him about her stand-up comedy courses at London's "Comedy Store" for "Good Morning with Anne and Nick" as part of their "Go for It!" strand.
