Brighton's "Fog Duchess" Kirsten Brown wins a place in "So You Think You're Funny" 2017 Grand Final...

Jill Edwards Comedy Workshops Graduate Kirsten Brown

I'm feeling giddy with excitement as once again this crazy summer I have the joy of sending out heartfelt congratulations to one of my stand-up comedy course at Komedia Brighton graduates. This time it's to the wonderfully original and unique stand-up Kirsten Brown aka the "Fog Duchess".

Kirsten won her semi-final heat against stiff competition and she's made it all the way through to the Grand Final of highly prestigious National stand-up comedy competition "So You Think You're Funny," at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017.

Brighton's "Fog Duchess" Kirsten Brown is in great company with my Komedia Brighton comedy course graduates Seann Walsh, Ingrid Dahle and Romesh Ranganathan who also made it through to past "SYTYF" Grand Finals. If you're in Edinburgh on Thursday August 24th come along to the Gilded Balloon and help us cheer our Kirsten on (and find out why she's called the "Fog Duchess!"). It's a cracking line-up too. Exciting times!
