Is it a Comedy Course? Is it a Holiday? It's both and it's back again for 2015...

It's not quite flip-flop weather yet but it's on the horizon and I've been thinking about my One Week Comedy Course Summer Holiday. It's been so much fun every year I'm really looking forward to doing it again this year. It's a great opportunity to work with people not just from across the country but from around the world, as well as our locals and Londoners looking for a one week intensive stand-up comedy course, and a summer holiday in beautiful Brighton, with guaranteed good company all in one. They already have at least one thing in common. They all like comedy.

They've picknicked, taken a break in between intensive comedy classes and learnt their stand-up sets in the nearby Pavillion Dome gardens during the day. They've tried out every eatery in Brighton and been to some brilliant comedy shows and comedy clubs on the thriving Brighton comedy scene in the evening.

Their relaxed and friendly show with free tea and cake for all in Komedia's intimate Studio where they can perform their brand new stand-up set to conclude their comedy course week is invite only and full of locals they've met out and about in Brighton during the week, local comedians, my comedy course graduates, local comedy club promoters and even new friends made while on the beach!

Their final show MC last year was still my comedy graduate and Comic Boom comedy club MC Romesh Ranganathan in his most relaxed and just having fun mode. This friendly show is fun for all of us.

There's been lifelong friendships, international trips and exciting first gigs after my One Week Comedy Course Summer Holiday. When our Debs from Hove visited lovely Ali in Hong Kong they both ended-up doing their first ever gig at Take Out Comedy night (below) in Hong Kong! Yea I'm dusting off my flip-flops and looking forward to enjoying it all again this summer...
