A Trio of Graduates in "So You Think You're Funny" Semi-Finals...

Workshops graduate Martin Wratten

It's that time of year again when the highly regarded prestigious new act comedy competition "So You Think You're Funny" makes decisions that will potentially define stand-up comedy careers. And new acts across the country stare at their phones, hoping to hear they've made it through their heats to the SYTYF semi-finals, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Three of my Komedia Brighton stand-up comedy course graduates got the call! I'm sending out proud congratulations to Martin Wratten, Vivienne Clare & Tim Fusciardi. These three will be packing their bags and heading to Edinburgh in August to take part in the "So You Think You're Funny" semi-finals! Exciting!

I'm wishing them luck as they follow in the footsteps of my comedy workshops graduates Romesh Ranganathan, Seann Walsh and Ingrid Dahle. They all won their semi-final heats, and made it all the way through to the career changing "So You Think You're Funny" Final.

It'll be my turn to stare at my phone, during the SYTYF semi-finals in August! Whatever the results I know Martin, Vivienne and Tim will make me proud.
