It felt just wonderful to be back at Komedia Bath for my June weekend comedy course again. It was my first live and in person weekend comedy course since the pandemic threw us all online. It was a glorious weekend with a lovely group of people. We had a lot of fun, a lot of laughs and there was even a puppet! Our little show to end our comedy course weekend in the Komedia's brilliantly refurbished "Electric Cafe" was an absolute riot.
I took the opportunity while I was in Bath to catch-up with one of my favourite people - Nick Steel who is the Director of the Bath Comedy Festival. He gave me an out of hours tour of the brilliant Widcombe Social Club. We talked comedy and comics and competitions while ducks paddled by on the sunlit canal outside the office. It's always great to spend time with Nick and it's always lovely to be in Bath.
I was delighted when some of the participants from this Komedia Bath weekend comedy course signed-up to join me for my one week comedy course holiday at Komedia Brighton next month. I'm so enjoying being back IRL.
