The Flight of the Spring 2016 Comedy Course Fledglings...

My stand-up comedy course at Komedia Brighton fledglings made me so incredibly proud in our "New Act Night" show last night! We had a wonderful sold out very happy audience of 276 people in the huge main space at Komedia who were big on laughing, clapping, cheering and at the end of the show a glorious standing ovation! My Spring 2016 fledgling stand-up comedians deserved it all.

They've been a pleasure to teach and watching them all go down so well on their first comedy flight was an absolute joy. I love watching each one take to the stage for the first time. It's a whole different level from performing in comedy class, which can be enough experience for some to get what they want from my comedy course. The progress they all make each week is always exciting, but once they're on stage for the first time, I can start to see the potential future comedy stars. They're the ones that just "light up" when they hit the stage.

Our brilliant "New Act Night" compere was Chortle nominated MC Barry Ferns. I borrowed him from Angel Comedy club for the night. He's back to MC Comic Boom on Thursday May 26th. Giving repeat audience members time to learn the lyrics to "Fresh Prince of Bel- Air."

All photos taken backstage on our "New Act Night" are blurred due to over excitement and laughing...
