Workshops Graduates Beat that Friday the 13th Curse with a Television Comedy Coup...

I'll never again believe that Friday the 13th is unlucky after my wonderful comedy course graduates little prime-time television coup on Friday the 13th of December! I started the evening watching Romesh Ranganathan making his superb debut on BBC One's "Live at the Apollo." I switched to Ch4 to watch Seann Walsh being interviewed by Alan Carr on "Chatty Man." And stayed with Ch4 to watch Romesh Ranganathan, Seann Walsh, Angela Barnes and Simon Evans on "Stand Up for the Week." It was an incredible Friday the 13th!

December had got off to a very exciting start with three of my comedy course graduates Jimmy Carr, Hal Cruttenden and Sean Walsh performing for Royalty no less in ITV's "The Royal Variety Performance 2013." Jimmy and Hal have been on the show before but Seann made his "Royal Variety" debut and met Prince Phillip!

We ended the year with a sold-out Comic Boom at Komedia, Brighton on Dec 30th that earned us a 5 star review in Brighton's own Latest 7. Romesh Ranganathan was my MC. It felt right that he had returned home to host the comedy party that was our last Comic Boom of an extraordinary year. Farewell 2013 you're going to be a hard act to follow...
